The effect of Colour Refresh gradually fades with washing and typically lasts between 4–10 washes. How long the colour lasts depends on the specific Colour Refresh shade used, as well as your hair colour and hair condition.
Always inform your hairdresser if you have used Colour Refresh, as bleaching should not be done if any pigment remains in the hair.
We recommend leaving Colour Refresh on for around 3–10 minutes. The longer you leave the treatment in, the more intense the colour effect will be. Depending on your hair condition and desired results, the time can be adjusted accordingly.
Always test Colour Refresh on a strand first to avoid discolouration or possible allergic reactions.
Yes, it's perfectly fine to use Colour Refresh on coloured and treated hair. However, ensure that you choose a shade that works on your current hair colour. Please note that the effect may last for different numbers of washes depending on the Colour Refresh shade, your natural hair colour, and hair condition.

The semi-permanent pigments in Colour Refresh are not as strong as those in permanent hair dye, and therefore Colour Refresh does not cover grey hair. We do not recommend using Colour Refresh on grey hair, as the results can vary.

If you have light hair (levels 7–10), we do not recommend using our darker Colour Refresh tones, as there is a risk of discolouration. Colour Refresh is a semi-permanent colour treatment that can only adjust the tone of your hair.

If the colour hasn’t turned out as expected, you can use non-colour-preserving products that contain sulphates to help wash out the colour more quickly. We recommend trying Purifying Cleanse Shampoo for this. Please note that this is not a colour remover, and some pigments may still remain in your hair.

Jeg farget håret mitt brunt i februar, men ettersom jeg i mange år har bleket det, så har håret over sommeren sluppet mye av brunfargen. Så nå hadde jeg masse blonde striper, som jeg ville bli kvitt. Prøvde derfor denne idag, og den ga virkelig håret mitt en så fin farge! Jeg hadde en del mørk ettervekst, derfor farget jeg kun overgangen fra etterveksten og nedover. Men helheten på fargen ble så fin, og jeg føler meg fresh igjen! En så enkel behandling som virkelig anbefales. Jeg testet å farge en liten stripe av håret før jeg farget hele, for å forsikre meg om at fargen passet til håret mitt!!

I love this colour and like to mix it with the cool cream which suits my 'salt & pepper' look these days. Skulle inte rekommendera till dom med blont hår som vill få en mörkare ton som det står att man kan använda den för. Blir grönt efter någon tvätt och kostade massor för att fixa hos frisören:/

I bought this on Amazon with the intent to tone out some of the orange/brassy tones from highlights that were really not the right color for me. I followed the instructions on the package and left on for about 5 minutes. With one application the product toned down my highlights and my hair looks shiny and healthy. I have been using Aveda Blue Malva shampoo to try and tone out the highlights and while it helped somewhat, I wanted something that would deposit color and this product delivered. I’ve used overtone in the past but this is better product. I’ll continue to use this as I grow out my color. It doesn’t cover grey as the package and description says, but I knew that going in and that wasn’t the purpose of using this product. I love the way it smells and that it doesn’t contain harsh chemicals. Thanks for making a great product!
