Colour shampoo from Maria Nila

Maria Nila's shampoo for coloured hair is one of the products in the Luminous Colour collection. The shampoo is made for people with dyed hair, so the colour retains its elegance. Like the rest of Maria Nila's hair care, Maria Nila's colour-preserving shampoo is made solely from vegan and animal-friendly ingredients. All products are also free from both sulphates and parabens. The shampoo is also made of climate-compensated packaging to make as little impact on the environment as possible. In addition to Maria Nila's colour-preserving shampoo being gentle on both the environment and nature, it also has a beautiful effect on your dyed hair. The shampoo softens, nurtures, and strengthens the hair's structure while adding shine, making your hair look healthy and wholesome. The shampoo for coloured hair contains pomegranate extract and Colour Guard Complex, which preserve the hair colour during washing and using heating tools and protect it against UV rays and free radicals. The shampoo for coloured hair has a unique, fruity scent of apple, blackberries, and peaches, leaving your hair smelling great.

Shampoo for coloured hair and associated products

We at Maria Nila recommend that you complement the shampoo for coloured hair with other products from the Luminous Colour collection for the best results for those with dyed hair. In addition to the shampoo for coloured hair, the collection includes a hair mask, which moisturises, nourishes, and gives a silky smooth result without weighing down the hair. The hair mask is recommended for use 1-2 times a week and should be applied after the shampoo. This is because the hair's cuticles are open after shampooing, making it easier for the hair to absorb the suitable substances in the hair mask. Finally, Maria Nila's colour conditioner should be applied. The reason for applying the conditioner last is to close the cuticles and thereby lock in the substances. The collection also contains a colour-preserving and heat-protective leave-in hair cream suitable for daily use. The cream adds nutrition and shine to the hair, reduces frizz, and gives a silky smooth result. It should be applied on towel-dried hair before blow-drying or using heat-styling tools for the best possible colour preservation. Combine with Maria Nila's hair oil for an extra silky smooth result. The Luminous Colour collection has a unique fruity scent of apple, blackberry, and peach. Maria Nila's colour-preserving shampoo and conditioner are available in several different sizes. The smallest size of 100 ml is a small and handy travel-size pack, which easily fits into your suitcase. The medium size contains 350 ml, and the largest size contains a full 1000 ml.

Ingredients in Maria Nila's colour shampoo

Maria Nila's colour-preserving shampoo contains pomegranate extract, protective antioxidants, vitamin F, wheat protein, and sunflower seed oil. Pomegranate extract is colour-preserving while also protecting the scalp and hair from dehydration. It is also rich in antioxidants, which have many benefits. They counteract the process in which the colour of the hair fades away, protect the hair from damage, and absorb UV radiation, thus protecting the hair from damage caused by sunlight. Vitamin F consists of fatty acids that help preserve the hair's strength and shine, while wheat protein acts as a moisture trap that both attracts and locks in moisture. Both Vitamin F and wheat protein have a strong conditioning effect on the hair. Sunflower seed oil creates a protective barrier on the hair's surface, which adds lustre and shine. Sunflower oil is rich in vitamin E, which improves the softening effect by locking in moisture in the hair.

Tips for those with coloured hair

Here at Maria Nila, we have some recommendations for those with dyed hair to help it keep its colour and shine for as long as possible:
  • Avoid washing your hair straight after dyeing, as this will cause your new colour to disappear faster
  • Use alternatives such as dry shampoo or have your hair in a ponytail for an extra day
  • Be careful with heat. Always protect your hair with heat protection and use the right products for your colour to last longer.
  • Use Maria Nila's colour bombs between visits to the hair salon to preserve the colour
